Translation for the everyday moments of travel — talking to someone, reading a menu and finding the words when you need them.
One app, different ways to connect
Parlivon brings voice conversation, written translation, camera translation and downloadable phrasebooks together for phones and tablets. Use it to ask a question at a hotel, understand a sign or show a useful phrase to someone when you do not share a language.
The website helps you explore the product and compare plans. Your phone or tablet is where the translation tools, microphone, camera and saved language packs come together.
What we care about
Conversation first
Two people can use one phone to speak and read translations. Earbuds are optional; the phone can also play the translation aloud.
Reliable when it matters
Signal disappears exactly when you need help. Downloaded phrasebooks, cached audio and hand-it-over cards work with no data at all.
Plain and inclusive language
Neutral wording is the default: one clean phrase instead of a wall of gendered variants, with masculine and feminine forms available where a language needs them.
Usable by everyone
Readable text, light and dark themes, playback controls and remembered language choices make it easier to return to the tools you use most.
Clear information about privacy
