By creating a Parlivon account or using the app you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Parlivon.
Parlivon is a translation, phrasebook and camera-assisted communication tool. Live translation is a best-effort service and should not be relied on for medical, legal or safety-critical communication.
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in Quebec or where local law requires) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity on your account.
Paid plans (Standard, Premium, Family) renew automatically at the price displayed at purchase, at the end of each billing period, until cancelled. The renewal price, billing frequency and cancellation instructions are shown before you buy. Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless otherwise indicated, and taxes may apply based on your billing address. Web subscriptions are billed by Stripe. Mobile in-app purchases are billed by Apple or Google under their standard terms. Trip Passes are one-time purchases that expire automatically and do not renew.
You may cancel at any time through the platform that sold you the subscription: Settings → Subscription on our website, Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on iPhone/iPad, or Play Store → Payments & subscriptions on Android. Cancellation prevents the next renewal; paid features remain available until the current billing period expires, and no prorated refund is provided for unused time. Refunds for App Store or Google Play purchases are requested from and decided by Apple or Google. Direct purchases on our website are final, except for billing errors and rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Deleting the app or your Parlivon account does not cancel a subscription managed by the App Store or Google Play — you must cancel it in that store. See our Refund Policy for full details.
Do not use Parlivon to translate content that is illegal, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others, and do not attempt to reverse-engineer or resell the service.
You own the content you input. You grant Parlivon a limited licence to process it for the sole purpose of returning translations, transcripts and audio to you.
The Family plan owner is responsible for members they invite. Any member can be removed at any time from the Family dashboard.
Parlivon is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free translations. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding a claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Quebec residents retain rights granted by the Consumer Protection Act (CQLR c P-40.1) and Law 25.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be surfaced in-app before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
